Austintown, Ohio – March 2, 2010 – Junior forward Jenny Miller (Tiffin, Ohio / Clyde) of the Heidelberg University women’s basketball team earned a spot on the 2010 Ohio Athletic Conference Honorable Mention list. It is her first postseason award of her career.
This season, Miller led the Berg in scoring with 14.5 points a game. She shared team honors with 32 steals, while standing second in rebounding with 7.8 boards a night. Miller reached double figures in 20 of Heidelberg’s 26 games on the year and had five double-doubles. Against Otterbein Dec. 2 she recorded a career-best 22 points. She hauled in a career-best 15 rebounds, to go along with 19 points at Oberlin Dec. 29.
Heidelberg, under the guidance of second-year head coach Marcie Alberts, finished the year at 7-19 overall and 6-12 in the OAC, good enough for eighth place. The Berg made its 24th appearance in the OAC Tournament.
