Campbell Makes All-OAC Team
Amanda Campbell (Pataskala, Ohio / Watkins Memorial), a senior guard on the Heidelberg College women’s basketball team, has received Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. It is Campbell’s as time being named to the all-conference team; she was named to the second team in 2007 and got a nod for honorable mention in 2005 and 2006.
Campbell led the OAC this season in minutes played, 981, and led her team with 6.9 boards a game and 52 steals during the season. She averaged 13.2 points (.806 from the free throw line), dished out 64 assists, and recorded nine blocks, while posting six double-doubles. Campbell also hit her 1,000th career point at the Swarthmore Tip-Off Tournament on November 18 versus Eastern. She is the 11th player in the program’s history to do so.
Throughout her four years at Heidelberg, Campbell has ranked in the top-two on the team for scoring and rebounding.
