Skolnicki Named to All-OAC Team

Senior guard Brittany Skolnicki (Lorain, Ohio / Clearview) of the Heidelberg University women’s basketball team was named to the 2009 Ohio Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Team. It is Skolnicki’s second all-league honor for her career.
 
In her final campaign, Skolnicki led the team in scoring (14.2 ppg), blocks (21), free throw percentage (.812) and field goal percentage (.447). She stood second on the team with 4.7 rebounds a night and 31 steals, while dishing out 52 assists, which was third-best amongst the Berg.
 
For her career, Skolnicki accumulated 1,394 points, which ranks sixth all-time.
 
Heidelberg, under the guidance of first-year head coach Marcie Alberts, finished the 2008-09 season at 6-19 overall and 3-15 versus league foes.
