Austintown, Ohio – October 12, 2009 – Freshman Bobbi Custer (Woodstock, Ohio / Triad) of the Heidelberg University women’s cross country team has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for the week of October 12, 2009. It is the first runner of the week honor for Custer of her career.
On Saturday Custer led the women’s cross country team at the Pre-Regional Gibson Family Invitational.
Custer finished the 6k course with the time of 25:00.7.
Next up for Heidelberg and second-year head coach Keith Roberts Jr. is the OAC Championships hosted by Wilmington College Oct. 31.
