TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University women’s golf team closed the fall portion of its 2011-12 schedule today by finishing in 17th place among 19 teams at Wittenberg University’s Pat Clouse Invitational at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio. The ‘Berg carded a two-round total of 883 strokes on the par-71 and 5,860-yard course.
Leading the way for Heidelberg was freshman Rachel Huth (Tiffin/Fostoria Hopewell-Loudon) with 189 strokes to come in 68th place overall. Following Huth in a tie for 74th was sophomore Heather Lentz (Sandusky/Perkins) with 196 strokes. Freshman Destiny Miller (Dublin/Coffman) carded a two-round score of 205 to place in a tie for 81st. Freshman Kam McNeal (Middletown) finished in 96th place with a 293.
Heidelberg will return to action in the spring of 2012.
