Faith Egli enters her third season at the helm of the Heidelberg University women’s golf program in 2011-12. Egli is the head golf professional at Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin and is the only women to be named head golf professional at a private club in the state of Ohio.
Egli is a Class A member of the PGA of America and the LPGA. Over the course of her career, she has played in 12 LPGA tour events, including the 1989 U.S. Women’s Open. She is a three-time runner-up at the LPGA Midwest Section Championship and has two top-10 finishes at the LPGA National Championship on her resume. In addition, Egli was selected the LPGA Midwest Section Golf Professional of the Year and Goldie Bateson Award winner in 2011.
Aside from playing, Egli currently serves as the LPGA Midwest Section vice president and was its tournament chairwomen from 2005-2009.
Her position at Heidelberg marks Egli's first as a head coach. She previously served as a technical consultant at Hiram College.
Egli was a four-time letter winner at Michigan State University where she was named to the Big Ten Conference first team on two occasions and also served as a co-captain. She was a Michigan State Amateur Medalist winner.
