TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University women’s golf team will officially open the fall portion of its 2011-12 schedule by competing at The College of Wooster Invitational at Wooster Country Club in Wooster, Ohio. Tee time is slated for noon on the par-72 and 5,802-yard course.
What was originally scheduled to be the season-opening tournament last weekend at the John Carroll University Invitational was rained out on the first day of action. Results were declared unofficial on the second day after a deluge of rain threatened the integrity of the course.
The Berg returns to action immediately following the Wooster Invitational with the Denison University Invitational at Granville Golf Club in Granville, Ohio.
