Tiffin, Ohio – April 2, 2010 – The Heidelberg University women’s golf team opened up its 2010 Spring schedule hosting the Heidelberg University Spring Collegiate Golf Classic at Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio.
The classic featured nine teams vying for the top spot which was secured by West Liberty University. West Liberty shot a 693 to overtake runner-up Ohio Northern University who shot a 719. Heidelberg finished ninth in the field with a 259.
Leading the way for the Berg was Tiffany Stark (Lancaster, Ohio / Lancaster). In round one, Stark fired a 107, but settled down in round two and returned with a 95 to finish at 202. Individually Stark stood in 26th.
Not far off of Stark was Jen Wargo (Middleburg Heights, Ohio / Midpark) with a 203 (106, 97), good enough for 27th.
Rounding out the scoring for the Berg was Sarah Baker (Clyde, Ohio / Clyde) with a two-day total of 212 (101, 111) and Erika Danver (Jackson, Ohio / Jackson) at 234 (117, 117).
