Lockbourne, Ohio – April 2, 2011 – Three members of the Heidelberg University women’s golf team participated in the Purple and White Invitational April 2-3. Capital University hosted the event at the Foxfire Golf Course in Lockbourne, Ohio.
Leading the way for the Berg was senior Tiffany Stark (Lancaster, Ohio / Lancaster). Stark fired a 95 in her opening round on Friday and returned with a 100 to finish at 195, which stood 41st.
Freshman Heather Lentz (Sandusky, Ohio / Perkins) shot a 117 in the opening round and improved with a 1-5 on day two for a 222. Lentz was 64th in the final standings.
Rounding out the Berg golfers was sophomore Erika Danver (Jackson, Ohio / Jackson). Danver fired a 231 (112, 119) to stand 68th.
