Wooster, Ohio - April 9, 2011 - Freshman Heather Lentz (Sandusky, Ohio / Perkins) led the Heidelberg University women's golf team at the Wooster Invitational on Saturday, April 9. The College of Wooster was the host institution of the invitational that took place at the Wooster Country Club.
Lentz finished her round with a 23-over par, 95 to stand in a tie for the runner-up spot. She was just three strokes out of medalist honors.
Also competing for Heidelberg was senior Tiffany Stark (Lancaster, Ohio / Lancaster). Stark fired a 106, which stood tied for 15th in the final standings.
Heidelberg will be back in action at next weekend at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
