Alliance, Ohio – May 1, 2011 – The Heidelberg University women’s golf team, under the guidance of head coach Faith Egli, closed out its season at the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships this weekend. The University of Mount Union hosted the event at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio. It was a par-72 course that had a yardage of 5,899.
Heidelberg was represented by senior Tiffany Stark (Lancaster, Ohio / Lancaster), sophomore Erika Danver (Jackson, Ohio / Jackson) and freshman Heather Lentz (Sandusky, Ohio / Perkins).
Stark paced the Berg with a 183. She opened up with a 93 in round one, but returned to fire a team-low 90 in round two. Overall she stood 21st in the final standings.
In her first OAC Championship Lentz finished in 28th. She had a two-round total of 191 (94, 97).
Rounding out the Berg was Danver in 36th. She finished with a 211 (109, 102).
