TIFFIN, Ohio—Junior 197-pound Ohio Athletic Conference champion Andy Lovins (Clinton Township, Mich./Lake Shore) will represent the Heidelberg University wrestling team at the 2012 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships on Friday and Saturday, March 9-10 at the La Crosse Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Fans can follow the action live at www.NCAA.com.

By virtue of a first-round bye, Lovins will face two-time Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Adam Latella of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, the WIAC champs, in the second round of the 197-pound bracket.

Lovins sits in a field of 17 wrestlers in the double-elimination formatted bracket.

Two weeks ago at the 2012 OAC Championships, Lovins, following a bye in the first round, recorded a major decision and a pin fall in the second round to earn the conference individual title, leading the Berg to third place.
