Spell Announces Release of 2009 Schedule

Fourth-year head coach Nick Spell has announced the release of the 2009 Heidelberg University women’s soccer schedule. Its schedule features 19 regular season contests with nine slated to be played at Mayer Field, on the campus of Heidelberg. Also included on the schedule are nine Ohio Athletic Conference games and three opponents that were participants in the 2008 NCAA Championships.
 
Action begins at the Centre College Tournament the weekend of Sept. 5-6.The Berg opens the season, and the tournament, against host Centre, who were participants in last year’s NCAA Tournament. On Sept. 6, Heidelberg will face Transylvania University ... Complete Story

 

'Berg to Host Summer Camps

The Heidelberg University women’s soccer team and head coach Nick Spell will be holding a variety of summer camps as well as soccer skill days for players in the area looking to improve on their fundamentals.
 
There is a team camp, along with an individual camp slated. Three sessions are offered in July for the team camp and the individual camp will run July 13-16.
 
The skill days will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:15 p.m. beginning April 15th. The sessions are open to ages 8-12, but other ages are welcome as well. Cost for each day is $5.00. The skill sessions will be held at the Heidelberg practice fields located at Hedges Boyer Park.
