Heidelberg Soccer Gives Back

Soccer is not just a sport to the Heidelberg College women’s soccer team, it’s a labor of love. For the second year in a row the team will be sharing that love with participants in the Washington School Soccer Program.

“It is a great venue to help grow soccer in the community and let our girls give back,” commented head coach Nick Spell, “The girls are really excited to be working with the kids and sharing their love of the game.”

The team will be coaching the WSSP teams, which are divided into divisions by grade level spanning first through fifth, at both the weekly practices and for all five games scheduled set to start Sunday, September 7 on the field next to Washington School’s playground. The registration for participants is set for August 25 in order to properly organize teams before the season begins.
