Blaine Bishop is entering her first year as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg University. After a successful playing career at Hanover College, Bishop is excited to begin working with Heidelberg’s athletic program.

During her career, Bishop played primarily for two club teams, F.C. Pride and Dynamo. Both teams are based out of the Indianapolis area. Bishop was a volunteer coach and referee for Pendleton Youth Soccer.

As a center mid, Bishop played three seasons at Hanover College with the Women’s Soccer team. While at Hanover, Bishop helped her team become conference co-champs in 2009 and win the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) title in 2011 advancing to the Division III NCAA tournament her senior year. At the NCAA tournament Hanover faced Loras College at Loras’ home field in Dubuque, Iowa. Bishop ended her senior year by helping her team set a school record of 15 wins. The team ended with a 15-3-2 overall record, including 8-1 in the HCAC matches.

Prior to transferring to Hanover College at the beginning of her sophomore year, Bishop attended Purdue University and was a member of the Purdue Women’s Cross Country and Track team.

A native of Pendleton, IN and graduate of Pendleton Heights High School, Bishop earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Hanover College and graduated with Cum Laude Honors. She is currently working to complete her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Heidelberg.
