WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Heidelberg women’s soccer team travel to Wilmington College to battle the Quakers in their second Ohio Athletic Conference contest. Despite the tireless efforts of senior goalkeeper Molly Schriber, the Student Princes dropped their first OAC match, 1-0.
Schriber, following a season ending injury last year, has been a force for the Berg in her senior campiagn. Against the Quakers, Molly recorded double digit saves, which marks the sixth double-digit save performance of her career.
The Quakers tallied the go-ahead goal in the fifth minute when Jenni Marck netted Rachel Gutowski’s pass.
The Heidelberg women will travel to Bexley, Ohio on Saturday, October 12 to battle the Capital Crusaders. Kickoff from Capital University is slated for 4:30 p.m.
