Head coach Nick Spell and the Heidelberg University women’s soccer team ended their 2012 season against the Purple Raiders of Mount Union. The Berg fell, 6-0 on Senior Day.
Senior Krista Blake (Geneva) is the only Student Prince that will graduate from the young squad. In her career, Blake has collected five goals, three of which came as a freshman. Coincidentally, Blake has netted two game winners as a Student Prince, one of which came against the Purple Raiders two seasons ago.
The Raider defense held the Berg to no shots.
Goalkeeper Julie Cross (Bowling Green) finished her freshman campaign with 125 saves, tallying five against Mount Union.
The Heidelberg women finish the season eighth in the Ohio Athletic Conference with an overall record of 3-13-1 and 2-7-0 in the OAC.
