Killoran Receives Academic All-OAC Accolades

Sophomore designated player Crystal Killoran (South Euclid, Ohio / Brush) of the Heidelberg College softball team has been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Team. It is the first postseason honor for Killoran.

The academic award winners are selected by the OAC faculty representatives. To be eligible for Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, be a starter or key reserve and be in at least his or her second year of participation in the sport.

Killoran boasts a cumulative gpa of 3.53 as a biology major. In 2007 Killoran led the team with 27 RBI and four home runs, while standing second in batting average (.356) and hits (42). For the year, Killoran recorded 12 multiple hit games and hit two of her four home runs in a 12-4 five inning victory over Wilmington April 15.
