Tiffin, Ohio –April 20, 2010 – The Heidelberg University women’s tennis team hosted Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Baldwin-Wallace College this afternoon. The ladies fell to the undefeated Yellow Jackets, 9-0.
The Berg now drops to 4-9 overall and 2-4 in the OAC, while the Yellow Jackets advance to 12-7 and 6-0.
The Berg was unable to pick up any matches against the Yellow Jackets. Elizabeth Kurtzman (Mansfield, Ohio / Shelby) (6-1, 6-3) and Kayla Gerber (Clyde, Ohio / Clyde) (6-1, 6-4) were able to pick up several games off their opponents at first and second singles.
The Berg takes to the road on Saturday, April 24, to face OAC opponent Otterbein at 1:00 p.m.
