Heidelberg Falls to Otterbein

With a 9-0 sweep, Otterbein College defeated the Heidelberg College women’s tennis team in Tiffin, Ohio. Heidelberg drops to 2-11 overall, 1-8 in Ohio Athletic Conference competition, while the Cardinals stand at 12-7 for the year, 7-2 in the OAC.

The two closest matches for the Berg came at first and second doubles. In the first position Amanda Hanning (Galion, Ohio / Galion) and Morgan Harrigan (Urbana, Ohio / Urbana) lost 8-5. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Kurtzman (Mansfield, Ohio / Shelby) and Emily Naugle (Shelby, Ohio / Shelby) lost in the second spot 9-7.

Heidelberg competes next in the OAC Championships which will run Tuesday through Saturday, April 22-26. Time and place are to be announced.
