TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams will compete Friday, Feb. 17 at the Ohio State University Tune-Up at French Field House in Columbus, Ohio. The meet will be the last before the Berg competes at the 2012 Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Both teams competed at last Saturday’s All-Ohio Championships, where the men’s team finished in fifth place and the women came in 15th.
Highlighting the meet was junior Josh Lynch (Dayton/Meadowdale), who won the triple jump for the third time this season, and junior Marian Bevington (Celina/Parkway), who came in third place in the high jump.
Following Friday’s meet, Heidelberg will gear up for the 2012 Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Capital University, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25.
