Magers Named Academic All-American

Senior Morgan Magers (Green Springs, Ohio / Old Fort) of the Heidelberg University volleyball team will graduate as a two-time All-American on the court, but now can add Academic All-American honors to her resume as well. Magers was named to the ESPN the Magazine College Division Academic All-American Third Team. She is the first student-athlete in the history of the volleyball program to earn Academic All-America honors.
 
Magers earned a spot on the Academic All-America ballot after being voted to the District IV College Division First Team. The honor is voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
