Clinical Education
The clinical education component of the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) offers both on- and off-campus experiences. The experiences give students an opportunity to practice their skills and knowledge in athletic training and actual allied health settings. Students gain practical experience in athletic training settings while working with intercollegiate and high school sports. Students work under the supervision of an Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI). Students also gain clinical experience at a general medicine clinic, which provides direct interaction with physicians and nurses, as well as at a physical therapy and chiropractic facility.
