Current ATEP Students

The students in the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) are high achievers who are actively engaged in all aspects of their educational process. They are also a diverse group who are committed to campus engagement as many of our students are involved with several campus organizations, intercollegiate athletics, Greek life and community service. Our students are an energetic and driven group who successfully rise to challenges. Currently, we have sixteen Athletic Training students in the ATEP, which affords one-on-one interaction with our faculty and Approved Clinical Instructors. As students reach senior status there are many options for them to consider. The majority of our students go on to pursue graduate work. Several of our students have gone on to schools such as The Ohio State University, Kent State University, Wright State University, Ohio University, University of Florida, Temple University, West Virginia University amongst other reputable institution of higher education. While at these universities, they have carried out responsibilities at local high schools, clinics, instruction, and intercollegiate athletics. Other students have pursued various allied health avenues, including massage therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, physician's assistant positions and nursing.

MEET OUR STUDENTS! We currently have 20 students in the program and more than 20 applying in 2008-09!
