The Baccalaureate Service is an interfaith service of thanksgiving. The first baccalaureate service dates back to 1432 at Oxford University, England. All students, family members and friends, faculty and staff are welcome to attend this event with open seating. No tickets are required.

The guest speaker is the Rev. Dr. David Mark Greenhaw, President of Eden Theological Seminary. Student leaders in the service served in religious life during their time at Heidelberg University. The Heidelberg University Concert Choir will provide the special music.
