Katie Myers, class of 2009, Public Relations
Hi! My name is Katie Myers and I chose Heidelberg because of the atmosphere. I knew I wanted to attend a small school where I wouldn't be overwhelmed, but would feel safe and like I'm at home. I love the fact that my classes aren't in huge lecture halls filled with 300 students and I'm not just another name in a grade book to a professor. The staff knows your name, professors know your name, and even the lunch ladies know your name! It's a very friendly atmosphere here at Heidelberg and that makes all the difference. I am going to miss it here when I graduate. I've made wonderful friends and met wonderful people. After I graduate, I know I will be prepared for a job in Marketing or Public Relations with a company. I hope to be successful both professionally and personally and coming to Heidelberg has definitely put me on the right track! If you visit Heidelberg, I could be your tour guide!
