With the start of the 2014-15 academic year, Heidelberg University welcomed three new full-time faculty members: Robin Heaton, Stacey Pistorova and Jenny Reichert.
Heaton, assistant professor of communication, comes to Heidelberg from Utah State University, where she had been a lecturer. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Utah, a master’s degree from California State University and a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University.
The School of Education’s newest faculty member is Pistorova, assistant professor of elementary education. Most recently, she taught at Terra State Community College, where she was the lead faculty of the Early Childhood Department. Pistorova has a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction and a master’s degree in early childhood, both from The University of Toledo, and a bachelor’s degree in art history from Skidmore College.
Reichert, who recently earned her Ph.D. in social psychology this spring from the University of Nevada, is the new assistant professor of psychology and criminal justice. She has a master’s degree in social psychology from the University of Nevada and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Baylor University.
