To find the browser version, open the browser, then:
On a PC: Select Help from the menu, then select About...
On a Mac: Select the name of the browser (on the menu bar next to the apple), then select About...

For example: Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac 10.8, etc.

To find your operating system:

On a PC: Open the control panel, click on Help, then select About Windows. The control panel can usually be opened from the Start menu. On older PCs, you may need to click Start, then select Settings.

On a Mac: Click the Apple icon on the menu bar, and select About this Mac.
