Healthy choices for life

The fourth annual Women’s Professional Development Conference will take place from 2:30-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, in the Campus Center.
 
The theme for this year’s conference is Healthy Choices for Life. Barbie Tootle, the keynote speaker, will provide a light-hearted examination of multi-tasking and the accompanying feelings of guilt and frustration. Barbie is president of Left Field Consulting. Shewas director of special projects and special assistant to the president of The Ohio State University for 15 years before moving on to Left Field. Her company provides training in creativity and organizational development, consultation in communication strategies, and freelance writing and speech writing services.
 
 
Workshop topics and titles include:
o   Realities About Sexual Assault
o   You and Your Healthcare Provider
o   Yoga: Mind, Body, Spirit
o   Alcohol & You
o   STI’s: Is There Anything New?
 
 
Everyone is welcome. Consider attending the conference, encouraging your students to attend and/or sponsoring a student’s attendance. Heidelberg students can attend at no charge.
