Playing in the mud

The second annual Mud Volleyball Tournament on Labor Day drew more than 220 students who found a fun way to get down and dirty. Twenty teams competed in the all-day tournament, sponsored by the Intramurals and the Dean of Students Office.

Two courts were set up at Hidden Valley. Bad is Back, a group of wrestlers and assistant men's basketball coach Ron Higgins, emerged as champs. For their efforts, they received T-shirts and a mud volleyball.
