Orientation Schedule
1:00 PM - 1:30 PM Opening Welcome
Parents and students will have an opportunity to meet and hear from the Dean of Students and the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
1:40 PM - 3:20 PM Academic Advising and Scheduling (students)
Students will begin exploring their academic opportunities and construct their Spring schedule with the help of an academic advisor.
I.D. Picture and Mailboxes (students)
While students are waiting, they will have their ID picture taken and receive their mailbox codes.
1:40 PM – 2:10 PM Paying the Bill (Parents)
Learn about Heidelberg’s tuition payment plans as well as loan options available to students and parents to help pay the bill. General information about our billing process will also be reviewed.
2:20 PM – 2:50 PM Assuming Responsibility at the Berg (Parents)
Learn about how the Berg teaches student responsibility and accountability through an effective student conduct model.
2:50 PM – 3:20 PM Getting to Know the Health Center (Parents)
Nursing and counseling staff members will provide a general description of the healthcare facility including location, hours of operation, staffing, medical requirements, etc.
3:20 PM – 3:40 PM Campus Coffee Break
Meet various members of the Heidelberg College campus community and enjoy a quick coffee break.
3:40 PM – 4:00 PM Residence Life
Living on campus will become a big part of your life at Heidelberg College. Learn the do’s and don’ts of living on campus.
3:40 PM – 4:00 PM Commuting Students
Learn what is available to you as a commuting student.
4:10 PM – 4:30 PM Technology at the Berg
CNIT, The Computer Network, and Information Technology department will share information about connecting to the campus network and the resources for students.
4:40 PM-5:00 PM Final Questions
Meet the rest of the Student Affairs staff and have a chance to ask any final questions.
