Last year, the Heidelberg Fund set a record by surpassing its $900,000 goal and – combined with the previous year – contributed to two of the best fund-raising years in Heidelberg University’s history.
This year, the bar is even higher. Our unrestricted Heidelberg Fund goal is $1 million! We want to build on the strong momentum generated by the completion of four new and renovated facilities and push boldly forward toward our two critical strategic goals of improving Academic Excellence and the Student Experience.
As we work to reach this monumental mark in the Heidelberg Fund, we ask you to not only continue your support but also to reach out to your alumni friends, classmates and peers. Share with them your philanthropic spirit for the Berg.
We are in need of approximately 600 additional alumni donors this year to help increase our current alumni participation rate from 18% to 25%.
To help make this goal a reality, an anonymous donor has agreed to match all new contributions to the Heidelberg Fund, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. Spread the word!
