Art and the Visual Experience

This course examines the processes by which we create, interpret, and respond to the visual arts (painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, and film). Emphasis is placed on developing critical understanding of form, content, and artistic expression as important to learning about personal, social, historical, and cultural ideas.
