Laboratory Studies in Contemporary Biology
This course is designed for non-majors as the laboratory complement to BIO 110, Contemporary Biological Problems. The weekly exercises allow students to more fully explore some of the important concepts discussed in the lecture, and provide them with firsthand experience of how biologists actually “do science.” The laboratory must be taken concurrently with BIO 110. It may not be used for credit towards the 39 hours required for the Biology major. One 2-hour lab each week.
