The biology and identification of birds. The primary focus of this course is to involve the student in the increasingly popular hobby of bird watching. Field trips and lectures incorporating color images teach methods of finding and identifying the birds and provide a natural history background for our North American avifauna. Two laboratory/lecture sessions per week. This course will not satisfy the 2001 General Education Natural Science requirement.
