This course applies economic principles to natural resource and environmental issues in society. Economic principles will be used to analyze society’s use of limited natural resources. The social welfare criteria of both efficiency and equity will be used to analyze environmental policies directed toward the correction of externalities. Prerequisite: ECO 251 and Junior standing.
