Reading to Learn in the Content Area: Multi-Age
Emphasis on helping students process and learn from content materials, including understanding text structure, vocabulary development, comprehension strategies, and use of strategies specific to teaching music, health, physical education, and foreign language. Focus will be on reading to learn for ages 5-21. This course is taken by all Multi-Age Licensure Candidates. Prerequisites: COM 100; ENG 101; Junior Status, Minimum GPA 3.0 to enroll, EDU 220, EIS 265.
