Semesters Offered:
Fall of Even-Odd Years Exploration of works of literature which have been adapted for film. After reading and analyzing the literary texts, we will examine the film adaptations of each work. The reading list will include the genres of drama, the short story, and the novel. Students will gain insight into the creative processes of writing and film making and a greater appreciation of how the written word morphs into a visual art form. Recommended as partial fulfillment of Heidelberg’s Humanities requirement.
