Spring of Even-Odd Years This course will begin with the last years of the Qing dynasty, Western intervention in the mid-19th century, events leading to the formation of the People’s Republic of China in 1949 to the gradual integration of the PRC in the global economy in the 1990’s. Open to juniors and seniors only.
