The Career Development Office offers services that support students as they begin their journey toward a fulfilling career! A few of the many services and programs are outlined below, offering comprehensive career development from major selection through successful post-graduation career choices. Career Advice: Email your career questions to careers@heidelberg.edu!

Major/Career Exploration: Career Advisors are available to meet with students one-on-one to explore different career choices, discuss career planning, provide resume and cover letter critiques, and develop effective job search strategies. Below you will find a detailed Career Development Checklist for each year at throughout your college career at Heidelberg.

Recruiting Month: Employers visit campus to interview students for potential full-time employment and internship opportunities. Click for the October 2007 Recruiting Schedule!

Mock Interview Day: Students can practice their interview skills, gain valuable feedback, and make excellent connections with potential employers. Practice graduate or medical school interviews are also offered.

National Career Development Month (November): Highlighted by fun, interactive events which encourage students to make informed career decisions. Features a Resume Writing Contest.

Career Fairs: The Berg/TU Career Fair is co-sponsored by Tiffin University and Heidelberg College each spring. Other career fairs include Collegiate Employ-Net, Education Expo, and the University of Findlay/Berg Education Fair. This year, the Fair is scheduled for February 21, 2008 in Seiberling.
