Internship Information
The Office of Career Development administers the Internship Program to provide students the opportunity to obtain practical on-the-job experience while earning up to 15 hours of academic credit. Internships for academic credit are available to juniors and seniors in good academic standing who have demonstrated the ability to produce high quality work. Detailed guidelines are available in the Heidelberg Internship Program Handbook.
Heidelberg College is committed to the principle that student internships involving practical, real-world work experience can represent a valuable part of the collegiate experience. Faculty members supervise and help to arrange a broad range of intern experiences in various settings: business and artistic organizations, government agencies, communications media, and public interest groups. Students are sometimes offered full-time employment as a direct result of an internship experience.

To Apply for the Tiffin Metal Products Inc., Internship / Scholarship Fund...
A fund has been established from a generous gift provided by Tiffin Metal Products Inc., that provides Heidelberg Students with the chance to apply knowledge obtained through coursework to experiential learning opportunities in a business environment. These experiential learning opportunities can take the form of internships, practicum, entrepreneurships, or other committee approved learning experiences. The Career Development Office at Heidelberg College disburses this fund on the recommendation of a selection commitee. It is the college’s goal to fund experiential learning experiences for as many individuals as possible. Questions about this special Internship / scholarship program?
