Budget Allocations
Student Senate is allocating money differently during the Spring 2008 semester. While Student Organizations will still be able to request money on a case-by-case basis, Student Senate will distribute a vast majority of student funds in the form of a budget. This gives student organization a unique opportunity to plan ahead for the spring semester.
Student Organizations have a better chance of receiving money from Student Senate if they are included in allocated budgeting, rather than requesting a case by case funds.
In order to be included in the spring budget, a student organization must complete a Budget Request Form and return it to Zaia Thombre, the treasurer of Student Senate. All forms must be submitted by February 1, 2008. Forms submitted after this date will only be consider after all other allocations have been completed.
