RAs have the opportunity to directly impact the growth and development of their peers by providing leadership and acting as role models for their floor.
 
RAs gain skills in communication, assertiveness, confrontation, advising, programming, mediation, time management, stress management, and administration. The RA position truly helps the RAs to better understand others as well as themselves.

If you decide to apply, the following items must be submitted to the Office of Residence Life, Campus Center 315, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008.

A completed 2008-2009 Resident Assistant application .
Typed responses to the four essay questions asked in the application.
Your personal Résumé.
Two recommendation forms, one Faculty member, one employer of your choice with whom you have worked with in the past (non-student).
