New Student Housing Application
The application for student housing will be offered online. Newly accepted students should receive a letter containing a checklist regarding orientation, housing, and other important details. The instructions for completing the housing application are in this letter. More information on filing a housing application is also available here.
Once students complete the application, it will remain on file with the Campus Life Office, who will assign the student a roommate based on the contents of their application. The following dates outline the housing process for all new, transfer, or re-admitted students for the 2013-2014 academic year:
|Starting: Early February
||Housing Application Available: Visit MyHousing to complete the New Student Application. Instructions will be mailed via the Office of Admissions.|
|Starting: Mon, May 6||New Student Roommate Requests: Students will be notified to make roommate requests via MyHousing, which will be used when making room assignments.|
|Mon, June 3||New Students Assigned Housing: All students with applications in will be assigned housing. If students have a roommate request, it should be made before this date.|
|Mon, July 1||New Students Assigned Housing: Additional students with completed housing applications will receive assignments after this date.|
|Mon, Aug 5||Remaining Students Assigned Housing: Eligible late applicants will be assigned housing.|
Students will be assigned housing by the Campus Life Office, with priority given to students who complete the application early. Housing assignments are subject to availability.
