If the student feels that the response by the Disability Identification Team is inadequate or disagrees with a denial of accommodations, the student may appeal this decision to the Heidelberg University Dean of Student Affairs. An appeal should be in writing and submitted to the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs within two weeks of the date of receiving the decision. The appeal must be signed by the student and must state the reasons for the appeal clearly. The Dean of Student Affairs will provide a written response to the student indicating the action that will be taken on the appeal.
