Alternative Spring Break: New Orleans, 2011
“I realized that our group was not just there to help reconstruct a house, but to help rebuild these people’s lives and it was an amazing experience. This trip was an experience that goes beyond the everyday community service event.

“My eyes were opened to how thankful I should be for everything I have. I am so glad I was able to go on this trip I would do it all again in a heartbeat.”

Alternative Spring Break: NYC, 2011
“Seeing how many people that came into the center and were grateful for the warm plate of food it really helped us realize why we are here. After cleanup and another round of pantry shopping we listened to volunteers tell us their stories of how they lived in the shelter system and how much Project Hospitality has changed their lives for the better.”
