Student Organizations
The Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development (OSALD) is a department within the division of Student Affairs and it supports more than 60 registered student organizations on campus. OSALD registers all student organizations at the beginning of each semester and maintains a student organization database with organization contact information, purpose, membership requirements and functions. OSALD offers numerous services to student organizations through workshops, one-on-one consultation and program planning.
One of the most important benefits of being a registered student organization is access to the staff in the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development for assistance in program planning, risk management, conflict resolution, fundraising or other issues related to your student organization.
Here are some of the programs and services that OSALD provides throughout the year: Campus-wide Involvement Fair, Monthly Workshops and Training Programs, Leadership Development Opportunities, Noontime Dailies and Interpretation of Policies and Procedures for Student Organizations.
