Want to Go Greek?

Greek ParadeApproximately twenty percent of the Heidelberg campus belongs to a fraternity or a society. These Greek organizations have played an important role in Heidelberg's educational and social life. Recruitment of new members occurs each year. There are nine Greek letter organizations that make the Greek community at the Berg. Alpha Phi Tau ΑΦΤ, Excelsior Men's Society ΕΧ, Sigma Tau Nu ΣΤΝ and the most recent addition, Rho Eta Delta PHΔ are the fraternities and Delta Sigma Chi ΔΣΧ, Euglossian Society ΕΥΓ, Kappa Psi Omega ΚψΩ and Philalethean Society Φ are the societies. Each organization strives to promote its unique qualities and characteristics. Established originally as purely literary societies, these societies and fraternities have developed into organizations committed to providing opportunities for character-building, leadership development, campus involvement and scholarship. Community service and annual philanthropic efforts within the Tiffin and Heidelberg communities are what makes Greeks at Heidelberg exclusive. Greeks demonstrate the true meaning of friendship and unity through their brotherhood and sisterhood bonds. You can catch a glimpse of what it means to be Greek at the annual Greek Retreat and Greek Sing in the fall and Greek Week in the spring.  View the campus calendar to find Greek events and programs!
