Student Senate is allocating funds by the same means as last semester. While Student Organizations will still be able to request money on a case-by-case basis, Student Senate will distribute a vast majority of student funds in the form of a budget. This gives student organizations a unique opportunity to plan ahead for the upcoming semester. Student Organizations have a better chance of receiving money from Student Senate if they are included in allocated budgeting, rather than requesting case by case funds.
Student Senate collects Semester Budget Allocation requests every semester. Any registered student organization is eligible to receive funding from Student Senate. There will be notices around campus when each funding request is due, usually in October and February. All requests for funding are to be done through BergLink.
