Do Something Different Over winter and spring breaks, you have the opportunity to give back and make a difference. Upperclassmen plan and lead trips around the world to volunteer in inner-city school programs, build houses with Habitat for Humanity, teach English in Nicaragua, and mentor at-risk youth in the local community. Study Abroad Traveling exposes you to different cultures and perspectives, and teaches you about yourself. Our students have studied abroad in places like Morocco, France, Australia, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Italy, and Costa Rica. We also have exclusive partnerships with the University of Ulsan in South Korea, the University of Heidelberg in Germany, and Tianjin Normal University in China. Research Trips Our students travel both to conduct research and present it at conferences all across the country. Whether it’s studying Caribbean biogeography in Belize or presenting at the Midwestern Psychological Association Conference in Chicago, you’ll have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and practice professional skills. 21
