Health Science
I chose Heidelberg because I loved the small college aspect and our beautiful campus!
I majored in Health Science because I knew it would prepare me for a job in healthcare.
A major challenge I encountered while at Heidelberg was trying to apply for graduate school and I handled it by getting help from my professors and advisor!
Above all, Heidelberg prepared me to use the knowledge and tools I've gained to build a successful future.
My favorite extra-curricular activity was all the fun events on campus because they provide a mental break during stressful times in college.
One faculty or staff mentor or advisor who impacted my ‘Berg experience is Dr. Jena Suffel because she helped me through any problem I had and helped me stay on track to graduate early. Jena and all my Health Science professors made classes more enjoyable and helped me get the most out of my Heidelberg experience.
My advice to new freshman me would be that balance and time management are the keys to making the most out of college.
My favorite Heidelberg memory is hanging out with my friends on the weekends and playing sand volleyball at Hedges-Boyer Park.
My plans after graduation are to get my Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Walsh University!
